Butter Princess is based on the rules of Trophy Dark.  (Don’t worry, all the rules you’ll need are in the book.)

This rule system intends for your characters to barely survive their trip to the State Fair. You’ll work to hold things together just long enough to give them an epic sendoff.

While your characters tirelessly attempt to seize the sculpture of the Butter Princess, you – as players – are plotting their soul-curdling defeats.

It’s what we call “play to lose.”

As you roll dice in risky situations, your level of Ruin also increases – a ticking clock that will determine your demise.

The action occurs over 5 acts with the chaos of the State Fair gradually reaching a polka-ridden climax under exploding fireworks.

A full playthrough will likely take somewhere between 3 and 6 hours.
