Add your story to a grand, collaborative archive of the last City's timeline...

In a far-future world, amid the ruins of once-powerful and advanced civilizations that destroyed themselves long ago, one great city still stands, thriving amid the desolation. The City is governed by a Lottery system that grants or revokes citizens' rights and powers, and, in doing so, maintains some semblance of balance in the dying world.

The Babylon Lottery is a rules-lite TTRPG for one facilitating Chronicler and 1-4 players. Each session, players will roll up characters informed by the in-world Lottery system that governs the City at the heart of the game. 

Each new story—each new Lottery and new character—will shape a different corner of and moment in the long history of the City. The Babylon Lottery is intended as a collective, collaborative storytelling setting, and the growing timeline of the city will be available online in a public archive where chroniclers and their parties can add their stories and edits to the ever-growing lore. 

Will players harness ancient technologies and magics to forge their own separatist society within the walls of the City, strike out into the wilds beyond, or desperately defend the system, imperfect though it may be, as a last bastion of hope for humanity?
