Dying of the Light

Dying of the Light is a gm-less game for 1-4 players. Players will collectively assume the role of a single city on a single night, and they will pull cards, which provide question prompts describing the beautiful and the melancholic parts of the night. 

Each prompt grants a player a token which can be spent to introduce characters, develop locations, and attempt to facilitate moments of beauty and intimacy in the middle of this dark and dangerous night. While a mapmaking game, of sorts, Dying of the Light is primarily focused on connections between people and the city they inhabit. As custodians of the night, players will endeavor to care for the city and its inhabitants, while also pursuing the opportunities the night offers them.
