What is a puzzle dungeon?

directsun's puzzle dungeons draw inspiration from the puzzle box dungeons of The Legend of Zelda series. They're more than rooms filled with puzzles, the dungeons are the puzzles. The problems, puzzles, and combat within are designed to encourage player creativity and understanding of their environment. Each space teaches players about the unique mechanics of the dungeon or re-contextualizes previous information in new ways. directsun's puzzle dungeons deliver challenges that feel natural to their world—mechanics that click into place the moment you discover how they work.
